This was a surprise yesterday. I knew the zukes were budding, but when I was outside admiring the newely blooming dafidills I looked up at the window above and say the blooms. I checked out the vegetable beds. They are still read wet, but maybe next weekend I can get these fellows out. I have enough tent supports and I think there is enough plastic to cover them for a couple weeks. I will probably keep at least a couple in the greenhouse for a while.  Posted by Hello

The cucumbers have reached the top of the strings and are trying to find something on the ceiling to hold on to. I pung the cuke chains in the greenhouse yesterday. They will have about 10 feet before they loose support Posted by Hello

The tomotoes are getting really crowded and misshped cause they are growing around the shelf above. It's a good thing the greenhouse will be ready for them to move in by next weekend. Other than getting the heater installed, it is ready and waiting.  Posted by Hello

I made a web of string hanging down from the ceiling fpr the cucumbers to climb. The bedroom looks funny with the valance shoved up and pinned to the wal, but the cukes were trying to climb it.  Posted by Hello

The tomatoes are staked up to keep them upright. They aren't getting as much light as they need, but this is the best I can do for them. The zuchini on the shelf above is peeking down the back and will soon need something done about it or it will grow down and shade these even more.  Posted by Hello

I need to stake up the tomatos before they fall over. Even after repotting, they are over 6 inches tall. Posted by Hello

the cucumbers are about 12 inches now. I hope the snow melts soon so these guys can get outside. Posted by Hello
